sometimes it is better to start thinking without knowing anything about methods. available methods often determine the problems we see, the questions we raise and, finally, they normally suggest a standard way of solving and answering questions right away, before we really dived deeply enough into them.

to overcome this dilemma, pre∆lab methods merge designers experiences in creating exploratory realities and social interactions with researchers knowledge to design and  validate experiments. instead of creating a “standard solution”, we invent conceptual tools that take shape with every new challenge they face.
